Head Chef

A well established multi-outlet venue in East London is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the team.

This role suits a chef who thrives on consistency and high standards, and who is comfortable running a full kitchen operation from menu to plate. Candidates from outside the area are welcome to apply, as relocation assistance can be discussed for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and service
• Develop and cost menus in line with the venue's style and margins
• Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
• Lead, train and roster the kitchen team
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and health standards at all times
• Ensure consistent plating and quality across all sections
• Manage kitchen budgets and control wastage
• Work closely with front of house to align on service flow

What We're Looking For

• Culinary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar head chef or senior kitchen role
• Proven ability to lead and manage a kitchen team
• Strong understanding of costing, stock control and margins
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene compliance
• Willingness to relocate to East London
• Reliable, hands-on, and able to work under pressure during peak service
