Head of Finance

🚀 Company Description: Halluminate is an applied AI and data company working with frontier Labs to train Financial Services Super Intelligence. We do this by building high quality computer and tool-use RL (Reinforcement Learning) gyms to train AI agents that do work across financial services verticals (ex. excel modeling, powerpoint creation and more in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, etc.) and broader knowledge work (consulting, insurance, etc). The company graduated from YCombinator (S25) and is scaling the team. 📋 Role Description: Halluminate is looking to hire a Head of Finance to own strategic capital initiatives including debt financing, working capital management, operations P&L, company capital plans, and contributions to core Finance RL expertise research. The responsibilities of this role include: Spearheading our initiatives to create novel financing instruments to fund massive RL environment/simulation buildouts. Managing and modeling our working capital and cash conversion cycles Tracking our company project P&Ls, managing important metrics like gross margins, operating margins, COGS, etc. Managing our company capital accounts Interfacing with our accounting team to ensure smart and healthy financial structure Owning relationships with our banking partners for debt, LoC, etc. Driving research around building RL environments for core strategic finance/CFO related tasks Necessary Skills Include: Hands-on experience structuring and executing debt for capex-heavy, asset-backed projects (datacenters, infrastructure, real estate, equipment financing) Track record owning lender and banking relationships: credit facilities, lines of credit, venture debt, and covenant compliance Fluency in operating metrics for project-based businesses — project-level P&Ls, gross margin, COGS, utilization, and margin bridges Comfort operating 0→1 in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment Ability to automate financing work with AI-agents Interest to lean into deeply technical research and engineering work at the frontier of AI ⚕️ Benefits Fully covered healthcare coverage for yourself and subsidized for dependents (Medical, Dental, Vision) Relocation Stipend ($10k+) 401k (4% match) Food: Free breakfast, lunch, and dinner while working Health: Free gym membership Transportation: Free transportation to and from the office (Ubers, Waymo) Visa Sponsorship (ex.
