Head of Production

Pepper Decor is a Czech manufacturing company specializing in premium glass decoration for international cosmetics and spirits brands. We combine advanced decoration technologies with a strong focus on quality and operational excellence.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Production to lead our manufacturing operations by establishing a structured, KPI-driven production system, implementing production standards, ensuring reliable execution of production plans, and improving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Implement production specifications and standardize manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with approved technologies and quality requirements.
• Monitor and improve key production KPIs, including production plan achievement, product quality, manufacturing costs, equipment utilization, and operational performance.
• Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, reduce losses, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure effective maintenance planning and reliable operation of production equipment while minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the production team while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Head of Production, Production Manager, or Deputy Production Manager in a serial or mass manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience implementing production standards, manufacturing technologies, and process optimization initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with production KPIs and manufacturing cost control.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to read technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
• English – B2 or higher.
• Czech – A2 or higher.
• Ukrainian or Russian – native or fluent.
