If your experience is in offshore lifting or transport and installation, this Heavy Lift Engineer – Installation role keeps you involved from the first engineering concept through offshore execution. You will develop calculations, lift plans, rigging and load-transfer solutions for large offshore structures. English is the working language, and relocation support is available if you are moving to the Netherlands.

Where You’ll Work

You will join an engineering team delivering heavy-lift and transport & installation scopes for offshore wind and other offshore projects. The projects include jackets, foundations, and large converter or platform installations.

The work covers the complete engineering cycle: concept development, calculations, lift and installation planning, procedures and technical support during offshore execution. You will coordinate closely with structural and naval engineers, vessel crews, clients and certification authorities.

What You’ll Do

• Develop lift and installation plans for large offshore structures.
• Engineer rigging arrangements and load-transfer solutions.
• Prepare the required heavy-lift and installation calculations.
• Write method statements and operational procedures.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with structural and naval disciplines.
• Discuss engineering solutions with vessel crews, clients, and certification authorities.
• Provide technical support during offshore operations.

What You Bring

• A minimum of four to five years of project experience in the offshore sector.
• Experience gained with an offshore contractor, marine or heavy-lift company, T&I contractor, offshore wind installation company or related engineering organisation.
• Practical experience with crane, lifting, rigging, transport or installation engineering.
• Fluent English and good communication skills.
• Availability to travel internationally and work offshore for approximately three to four weeks per year.
