As a Hospital Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily and afterhours hospital operations, acting as a key point of contact between clinical and administrative teams. You will help ensure efficient patient flow, support operational excellence, emergency management and contribute to the delivery of outstanding healthcare services. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day hospital operations across inpatient units and our Emergency Department, to ensure access and patient flow is maintained. Support the site with emergency management procedures Liaise with VMO’s, nursing teams and other healthcare facilities. Support quality, risk, and compliance initiatives. Respond to operational issues and facilitate timely solutions with the support of the Epworth Richmond on call team after hours. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and stakeholders. Position Description Inherent Requirements About You You are a highly organised and proactive professional with a passion for healthcare and service excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. To be successful, you will have: Previous hospital coordinator experience in a large tertiary healthcare organisation. Experience in hospital operations, bed management, patient flow, or healthcare coordination will be highly regarded. Strong organisational and coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. A commitment to patient-centred care and confidentiality. Ability to work weekend and after hours to support the Hospital Coordinator team. Why Join Epworth?
