A community hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC Med-Peds or Internal Medicine physician to join a high-quality hospitalist program in a nocturnist role. Employed hospitalist position
Practice based at an 81-bed community hospital
Established Med-Peds hospitalist program with 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider
Flexible scheduling: (3) 14-hour shifts per week or (6) 14-hour shifts every other week
Coverage of a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support
ICU responsibilities include ventilator management, lumbar punctures, and central line placement
Fully integrated EPIC electronic health record
Strong specialty support including General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Sleep Medicine, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy
Average nightly admission volume of approximately 6 patients
