Industrial Engineers apply advanced problem-solving techniques and lean principles to develop and optimize the Manufacturing system to maximize throughput, increase efficiency, and value. Industrial Engineers are involved in all phases of the factory life cycle, including proposals, Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning, Factory Layout, Cell/Line balancing, Simulation and Process Modeling, Labor Performance Analysis, Pareto Analysis, Process Mapping, and Project Management. What You Will Do Identify throughput constraints by performing capacity, simulation, what-if scenario analysis Drive factory improvement project priorities through the use of analytical tools. Coordinate factory capability needs for yield improvements and new technology. Identify and participate in improvement projects to support constraint elimination Apply Six Sigma and Lean Principles to include the use of value stream maps, line balancing, and error proofing Support manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, on time delivery and safety Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering obtained by start date Experience with Industrial Engineering processes and tools Experience with Microsoft Office tools The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. Eligible for relocation assistance Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas. Clearance Information: This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
