Our Ideal Candidate
As an IT Officer, you will support the day-to-day technology needs of the resort, helping ensure that systems, equipment, connectivity, and user support run smoothly across the property.
We are looking for someone who combines solid technical fundamentals with a genuine service mindset. You should be comfortable assisting colleagues and guests, troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining accurate records, and following through on requests with professionalism and discretion.
Previous experience in IT support or hospitality technology will be an advantage, along with familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera, POS, key card systems, or similar platforms. Just as important is your ability to stay organised, remain calm under pressure, and take pride in providing reliable support behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient first-level IT support to employees and departments across the resort.
- Assist authorised users with hotel systems, applications, computers, printers, telephones, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment.
- Support basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, network connectivity, email, printers, POS terminals, and user access issues.
- Assist guests with internet access, in-room connectivity, and basic technology enquiries when required.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the IT Supervisor or relevant service provider.
- Coordinate timely repair and return to service of faulty IT equipment.
- Assist with the setup, installation, and maintenance of computers, laptops, printers, scanners, telephones, POS terminals, and related equipment.
- Support daily checks of key systems, equipment, connectivity, and IT work areas.
- Assist with system backups, data protection procedures, and emergency support processes as assigned.
- Follow required security procedures to help prevent unauthorised access to hotel systems and confidential information.
- Maintain accurate IT records, including hardware inventory, software records, licenses, contracts, support logs, and equipment documentation.
- Support the filing and safekeeping of confidential departmental information, contracts, licenses, manuals, and IT documentation.
- Ensure IT licenses, system records, and support documents are kept organised and up to date.
- Assist with the availability of stationery, consumables, accessories, and materials required for IT systems and equipment.
- Identify outdated, damaged, or faulty equipment and report concerns to the IT Supervisor.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for deliveries, repairs, maintenance, and follow-up when required.
- Support IT requirements for meetings, events, office setups, and operational needs.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure IT office, storage area, and equipment inventory.
- Follow hotel policies, IT procedures, confidentiality requirements, fire, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Carry out any other reasonable IT-related duties assigned by the IT Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, technical support, or hospitality IT is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, printers, telephones, Wi-Fi, and user support.
- Previous hotel, resort, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera, POS systems, key card systems, telephone systems, CCTV, or related platforms is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, email setup, and basic troubleshooting.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational require.
