Intercompany Lead

Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intercompany Lead to assist in designing, implementing, and overseeing our Intercompany Hub within the Shared Services organization. This role will play a critical part in driving process standardization, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy across global intercompany activities. Initially operating as a senior individual contributor collaborating with the GPO, the successful candidate will provide cross-functional leadership and governance across intercompany processes, with the focus on building and leading a dedicated team. Your role Participate in the design, implementation, and evolution of the Intercompany Hub and its operating model Standardize and optimize end-to-end intercompany processes (invoicing, payables, reconciliation, settlements) while driving automation and system improvements Oversee intercompany accounting, including reconciliations, eliminations, accruals, and FX impacts, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close Ensure integrity and alignment of intercompany balances across entities, with strong compliance and control framework Provide functional oversight to intercompany AR/AP teams, ensuring alignment and effective dispute resolution Act as escalation point for complex intercompany issues, managing stakeholder relationships and resolving disputes Help Define and track KPIs, driving performance, transparency, and continuous improvement Identify and implement efficiency opportunities, reducing manual work, rework, and aged balances Serve as the central point of contact across Finance, business, GPO, and IT Support the development of the future-state team and transition into a leadership role over time About you Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA/CA preferred) 7–10+ years of relevant experience in: General Accounting / Record-to-Report Intercompany accounting Shared Services or Global Business Services environment Month-end close and reconciliation processes Key Skills & Competencies Strong finance and accounting expertise, particularly in intercompany processes Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Solid IT and systems acumen (ARCS, Oracle ERP systems, automation, data analysis tools) Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes in a global environment Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to: Partner effectively with business teams Manage and resolve escalated disputes in a professional and timely manner Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
