As part of our market-leading Transaction Services team, you will work on high-profile domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across a broad range of industries, helping clients understand the financial drivers, risks and opportunities that shape successful deals.

You will collaborate with experienced deal professionals across the global PwC network while developing deep technical expertise and commercial insight in a fast-paced transaction environment.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Intern~Senior Associate role is based in Seoul, South Korea and supports the Samil PwC Deals practice. At PwC Korea Deals Advisory, you will be exposed to some of the most dynamic M&A transactions in the market. As a Transaction Services professional, you will help private equity funds, strategic investors, and multinational corporations evaluate investment opportunities through financial due diligence and transaction-related advisory services.

Working closely with experienced deal professionals, you will develop a strong understanding of business performance, value creation drivers and transaction risks across a variety of industries. Whether you already have transaction experience or are looking to build a career in M&A, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop your deal advisory skills through challenging assignments, cross-border engagements and collaboration with PwC professionals around the world.

What you'll do:

• Deliver sharp, commercially focused financial due diligence insights and high-quality reports that support complex transactions and create confidence for our clients.
• Lead detailed financial analysis across buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, uncovering key value drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Build a deep understanding of client businesses and sectors to identify what really drives performance, providing clear, actionable insights that help accelerate successful deals.
• Harness PwC’s cutting-edge technologies — including AI, data analytics and automation — to enhance how you work, elevate the client experience and continually grow your digital capabilities.

What we’re looking for:

• Relevant experience in transaction services, assurance (e.g., external audit), corporate finance, valuations or related financial advisory services, preferably gained within Big 4 accounting firms, consulting firms, investment banks or corporate finance teams globally.
• Strong analytical, accounting and financial reporting skills, with the ability to assess business performance and key value drivers
• A collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable leveraging digital tools, AI and emerging technologies to enhance financial analysis and insight generation.
• Ability to work on-site in Seoul, South Korea

Preferred Qualifications:

• Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Korean language proficiency required (native or fluent level)
• Ability to communicate effectively with Korean management teams and review Korean financial information and documentation
