We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications ( Senior Lead Developer Architect ) to join our Applications Development & Intelligence Automation - CAT IT Division Bangalore Team. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India What you will do A Development Lead/Architect drives technical strategy, designs scalable software systems, and mentors engineering teams. They bridge high-level architecture with hands-on coding, ensuring code quality, security, and performance standards. Key responsibilities include creating technical blueprints, leading development, conducting code reviews, and aligning initiatives with business goals. Job duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to: Architectural Design & Strategy : Define technical, security, and infrastructure standards, designing high-level, scalable solutions. Technical Leadership: Guide development teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices. Mentorship: Mentor developers to enhance technical skills and foster a culture of engineering excellence. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives. Hands-on Development: Drive development of APIs, microservices, and core application components. Performance & Security : Optimize application performance and ensure system security compliance. What you will have Experience: 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in lead/architect roles Desired skills: Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Python), Microservices, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Database design. Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring, and managing stakeholder expectations. Methodologies: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate technical visions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work Timings: 01:00 Noon -10:00PM IST This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office. Level Extensive Experience: • Collaborates with an extended professional technology network to help clients effectively identify, plan for and accomplish technology objectives. • Supervises others in advising a range of clients across a myriad of products, technologies, services and solutions in a relevant technology domain. • Identifies and evaluates emerging technologies and advises clients regarding their potential business impacts. • Effectively consults with and conveys technology concepts, business impacts and other advice to senior client levels. • Trains others in developing technology business, channel management and client coaching. • Leverages formal certifications in mastery of multiple areas of technology in demonstrating credibility for client consulting. Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design. Level Expert: • Consults to others on the technical design of high-impact, multi-technology complex applications. • Contributes to the establishment and implementation of best practices for application design. • Leads in evaluating and selecting emerging application design tools and techniques. • Mentors juniors to create multiple application designs on multiple technology platforms. • Directs the development of technical standards and platforms for application design. • Provides application architecture consulting and educational support to associates and business line areas.
