IT Support Technician Aerometals - El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 Apply Overview Salary Range $30.00 - $37.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level 2 Year Degree Apply Description Aerometals is looking to add the following position: IT Support Technician Pay range: $30 - $37 hourly Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm Aerometals is seeking a versatile IT Support Technician to join our IT department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver who enjoys helping people, learning new technologies, and taking ownership of a wide variety of IT responsibilities. If you are looking to assist with desktop support, servers, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and IT projects, this is a job for you. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to: Provide first and second-level technical support to approximately 180 employees. Troubleshoot windows desktop and laptop issues. Resolve hardware, software, networks and application issues. Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. Document issues and resolution in the help desk system. Maintain user access to business applications. Process new hire, transfer, and termination requests. Configure email accounts, security groups, and permissions. Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Assist with administration of: Windows Server, Active Directions, Group Policy, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, File and printer servers, DNS/DHCP, and backup systems. Manage software licensing. Prepare and deploy computers. Maintain IT inventory and coordinate hardware repairs and warranty services. Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, Windows updates and patches, endpoint protection, security best practices, and awareness efforts. Participate in a variety of IT projects including pc refreshes, networks upgrades, server migrations, office technology improvements, and process automation. Qualification Requirements: Education : Associates in Information Technology or equivalent experience Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently. Familiarity with supporting Windows 10/11. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, crawl under desks, and be server rooms as necessary. Experience with Hyper-V manager, PowerShell, SQL Server, SharePoint, JobBOSS , and /or remote support tools is a plus. Experience : 3 years in IT support Training : On the job training.
