IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "ALCOTRAITÉ 2 TRASPORTI" Support better governance and transportation in the border regions between Italy and France. VOLUNTEER Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT) is looking for an IVY volunteer! The volunteer will support the Interreg project "ALCOTRAITÉ 2 TRASPORTI" under the Programme "Interreg France - Italia ALCOTRA". The objective of the Interreg project "ALCOTRAITÉ 2 TRASPORTI" is to establish long-term coordination of interregional transport to improve cross-border mobility and thereby enhance the quality of life for citizens in the ALCOTRA area. The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks: Drafting and publishing content (in French and Italian) for the Franco-Italian cross-border mobility website, TransAlpi ( https://transalpi.eu/ ), including articles, site pages, and updates for the interactive map; Managing, alongside MOT colleagues, the TransAlpi LinkedIn page; Monitoring developments in Franco-Italian mobility; Assisting with the organisation of the project’s annual event in Nice in November 2026 and other events involving the project; Support in planning and preparing material for the technical workshop scheduled as part of the annual event, aimed at facilitating technical and political coordination between the five regions participating in Alcotraité 2 Transports; Preparing material to promote the results of the project’s events , as well as external European events. Other information: Financial support of: 33.76 euros per day (week-end and holidays included) . Location: Paris, France. Start and duration: End of September, for 6 months. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 21.48 EUR to 92.96 EUR per day. Insurance IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience, if needed. Contribution to travel costs Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km. Visa Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, residence permit, or any other authorization required to legally enter, reside, and carry out their volunteering activity in the hosting country. Once selected, volunteers are expected to complete all necessary administrative procedures, and submit the required documentation to the relevant authorities. For eligible volunteers relocating between countries participating in the IVY initiative, IVY will reimburse the costs associated with obtaining the required visa, and provide invitation letters and proof of financial means. However, the responsibility for identifying the correct visa, preparing the application, and completing the necessary formalities remains with the volunteer.
