Java Solution Architect (Banking)

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in banking, collections, lending, recovery, and cloud-native architecture to lead the design and evolution of strategic technology solutions within the Collections & Distressed Client Management domain.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for Collections and Distressed Client Management initiatives.
• Design scalable, cloud-native, event-driven solutions.
• Define integration strategies across core banking, risk, CRM, and enterprise platforms.
• Drive architecture governance, technical standards, and solution roadmaps.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote architecture best practices.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience designing mission-critical banking platforms.
• Strong expertise in Collections, Debt Recovery, Lending, or Risk Management.
• Experience delivering cloud-native transformation programs.
• Background in highly regulated financial services environments.
