What we are looking for: Experienced pipefitters and journeymen with strong field skills and a solid work history. Candidates who have never previously been a member of a union. Willing to join our local union as a condition of employment. Willing and able to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area. Duties and Accountabilities: Read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and mechanical schematics to guide installation work. Select, assemble, and install piping systems and related materials per specifications. Cut and connect pipe using hand tools, power tools, and methods such as welding, soldering, brazing, and threading. Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including pumps, compressors, and controls. Test piping systems for leaks by pressurizing lines and monitoring gauges.
