Job Description Summary Junior Engineer -Quality is responsible for establishing an efficient and continually improving quality systems as per AS 9100-D and internal GE QMS norms. Own & drive key Quality deliverables in the projects including CMM Measurement, Manual Inspection analysis & certifying aviation hardware per internal quality inspection requirements. Role Overview: Responsible to carry out CMM Programming for machining components as per internal Customer Provided drawings, MOS and Customer specific/ QMS requirements for machined components. Work closely with manufacturing / production & Quality teams to develop CMM Programs As per Machining processes for various Machining operations. Candidate should have in depth understanding of ASME Y14.5 and various GD & T Features, its application in Aerospace industry during CMM Programming. Willingness to work & get qualified to Cross functional quality cells Such as FPI, FI, FAI & DSQR, along with working with HPT teams for daily analysis of yield improvement, EHS & process improvisation projects. Contribute to continual improvement through audit programs, assessment / of various non-conformances and driving corrective actions identified through Root Cause Analysis. Understanding of site quality QMS procedures & policies. Understanding of process & yield improvement tools like RCA, KAIZENS, 7 QC tools, PFMEA, SPC, MSA etc. Providing training, and support to shop operations, design, and manufacturing to assure effective Quality Assurance Maintaining awareness of the latest inspection techniques & processes and their beneficial and limiting aspects for optimum application Actively contributing to non-conformance, event management & analysis etc The Ideal Candidate: Candidates with an experience in CMM programming / Operating of Zeiss ACCURA, CONTURA, DURAMAX and Accurate CMM etc. & Used Calypso Software latest version. Required Qualifications: Candidates should have hands on 3+ Years experience in CMM programming of Zeiss ACCURA, CONTURA, DURAMAX etc. & Used Calypso Software latest version.
