Job Description Summary The Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a civilian leadership transition program designed for former U.S. military commissioned officers. Through three 8-month rotational assignments within GE Vernova's Wind business, participants apply their military leadership experience in a commercial environment while developing business, technical, and operational expertise. The program is designed to help veterans successfully transition into the private sector, expand their professional network, and prepare for long-term leadership careers at GE Vernova. The Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a unique opportunity for former US military officers to work in three high-impact roles within GE Vernova’s Wind business . Each candidate will complete three 8-month-long rotations and, for the latter two, will have the autonomy to choose the direction of his or her professional passion. The program enables participants to build business skills and expand their network to ensure they are best positioned to lead in the commercial space. This program is intended for high-performing officers with a strong track record in their military experience. We challenge each JOLP to constantly ask questions, strategically challenge the status quo, and raise up their fellow teammates. Roles and Responsibilities Integrate into and contribute to various teams across multiple rotational assignments. Develop and broaden business acumen, technical skills, leadership skills, and network through formal curriculum and personal initiative. Contribute as an active participant in the direction and management of the JOLP. Required Qualifications Applicants must have served in the United States Armed Forces as a Commissioned Officer for a minimum of 4 years. Targeting the 4–10 year Commissioned Officer. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college Onsite reporting to: Schenectady, NY. Expect 20% travel in the first 8-12 months (other GE locations, project sites, suppliers, etc.) Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to operate autonomously and demonstrate effective initiative in abstract and undefined environments and situations. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,800.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
