About the role The Lead Hand Mobile Maintenance role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide leadership and instructions to the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Crew. You will ensure work is done safely in the most efficient and productive manner at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation. The position will be on a 14/14 (12 hour day) roster. Residential is preferred, with relocation support available, however the role is FIFO/DIDO eligible. Key result areas in this role include: Lead, direct, promote and encourage your team Effectively execute scheduled preventative maintenance programs Perform job task observations and planned inspections Provide necessary safety equipment in accordance with conditions of work and ensure all work is carried out in a safe and proper manner in compliance with government regulations and company policies Inspect and report on work done by outside mechanical contractors Conduct regular safety inspections Ensure that a safe and productive atmosphere is maintained within the mechanical department, About you As a Lead Hand Mobile Maintenance, you will have a Grade 12 Secondary School diploma and HD Mechanic Journeyperson certification. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate: Valid Class G driver’s license 5+ years of experience working in an underground environment or relevant industrial environment Comprehensive understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems and a solid comprehension and ability to interpret technical language and produce reports Superior organizational and prioritization abilities Ability to motivate and encourage a climate of teamwork and cooperation Other Important Details As a condition of employment, successful applicants must complete satisfactory pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to Background Checks, Employment Verification, Education Verification and mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
