About the role

As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead for the infrastructure that powers sequencing operations. This role involves owning core services that manage lab devices, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. You will design and build systems to orchestrate millions of bioinformatics tasks and develop AI infrastructure to support agentic systems.

What You’ll Do

• Own core services for orchestrating lab devices and the data ingestion pipeline
• Build cloud infrastructure and data pipelines for processing terabytes of sequencing data
• Design infrastructure for bioinformatics task orchestration, including queues and workflow scheduling
• Develop AI infrastructure and internal tools for agentic systems, such as Quality Scientist Agents and Logistics Agents
