Job Description Summary GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Program Manager to join the Wind Controls Engineering Sub-System team in Greenville, SC. This role will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering execution by providing strong program management discipline, cross-functional coordination, and operational rigor across Controls programs. As a Lead Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving execution of the Controls sub-system scope across the product lifecycle. You will report to the Controls Integration Leader and work closely with the Sub-System Operations Leader, program leadership, systems engineering, functional teams, and partner sub-systems to ensure priorities, schedules, risks, and deliverables are clearly aligned. The successful candidate will be a proactive, collaborative, and structured program leader who can operate effectively in a global engineering environment, support timely decision making, and help teams deliver with quality and predictability. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and communicate the integrated Controls sub-system program schedule, including milestones, dependencies, budget inputs, resource needs, and key execution priorities. Partner with program leaders, systems integration leaders, functional managers, and other engineering sub-systems to align Controls deliverables with overall Wind Engineering program objectives. Apply disciplined program management practices, daily management routines, and appropriate GE Vernova Wind tools and other planning and tracking systems. Identify, track, and help resolve programmatic and technical issues by facilitating cross-functional discussion, recovery planning, scenario evaluation, and timely escalation when needed. Provide clear visibility to risks, actions, owners, and decisions to support accountability, stakeholder alignment, and predictable execution. Coordinate change management execution to the product bill of materials related to Controls Sub-Systems parts. Prepare for and lead periodic Controls internal program reviews with the sub-system leader, functional managers, program leadership, and other key stakeholders. Support compliance with engineering processes, quality requirements, and internal operating standards while promoting continuous improvement in execution practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, project management, renewable energy engineering, or a related technical field. Desired Qualifications Experience coordinating work across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a structured execution environment. Demonstrated ability to organize work, track actions, communicate status, and drive follow-through on commitments. Experience in wind turbine product development, industrial controls, automation, or complex electro-mechanical systems. Demonstrated project management capability, including schedule management, risk management, stakeholder communication, and action tracking. Ability to analyze complex technical and programmatic information, identify options, and support effective decision making. Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal, facilitation, and influencing skills in a matrixed organization. Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate risks, remove barriers, and support continuous improvement. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
