The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices. Our unit is recognized for our collective achievements and contributions to the safe, high-quality care we deliver to our patients on a daily basis. Combined Our Team Members Have 20+ Years Certified as Medical Surgical Nurses. We are a 42-bed Medical Specialties Unit. Our diverse patient population includes but is not limited to CHF, Sickle Cell, Renal Failure, Vascular, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, Osteomyelitis w/ Surgical Interventions, Wound Care and, an assortment of varying disease processes. We one main Nursing Station and 7 Substations. Within those Substations you can visualize your patient assignment and govern your own work area. Equipment utilized on unit has EPIC integration, thus decreasing your time inputting data. We live out our “no staff left behind” motto and teamwork model by staying in contact with each other through the use of walkie talkies, including the management team.
