• Base Salary: $147,000 – $193,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)

About The Role

As the facility's Licensed Psychologist, you'll conduct psychological screenings and assessments, develop and modify individualized treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention and counseling to individuals in your caseload. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team — alongside psychiatrists, nursing, medical, and security staff — to ensure care is coordinated and follow-through happens. Regular rounds in segregation and other confined housing areas are part of the role, helping you stay closely connected to patient needs and early warning signs.

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on need and level of functioning
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and de-escalation support
• Make regular rounds in segregation/confined housing to monitor adjustment and mental health needs
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, medical, education, chaplaincy, and security staff on integrated care
  
  

What You'll Need

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university
• Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in the State of California
• Minimum two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a comparable role
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
