Position Summary We have a unique opportunity within Indianapolis Operations to join the Central ME Improvement Team. Rather than supporting a single department or component/component family, this role provides Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) improvement support across all Indianapolis manufacturing facilities. The selected candidate will use DMAIC methodology, lean principles, and data driven problem solving to identify enterprise level opportunities and drive measurable improvement. This position offers broad exposure across multiple product lines and the ability to make a significant impact on Indianapolis Operations QCD performance. What you will be doing A new opportunity has arisen for a LiftSystem Project Lead. As the Project Lead you will have responsibility alongside the accountable Program Manager to ensure work packages are managed from inception through completion. This role is accountable to support proposals, negotiations and execution of FAR 15 contracts in support of these activities. In this role you will primarily be accountable for supporting the execution of our contracts including cost, schedule reporting internally and externally. Apply DMAIC, lean principles, and structured problem solving to identify, validate, and execute high impact QCD improvement projects. Contribute to proposals and negotiations for new contracts. Monitor Earned Value reporting to ensure successful program execution and compliance to the Rolls-Royce Management Control System. Monitor scope against contracted content and coordinate contractual modifications as needed. Coordinate reviews such as Monthly Program Reviews, PILM business gates, and customer reviews. Ensure robust forecast and budget management Basic Requirements: An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, OR A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR; A Masters degree or JD/PhD OR; In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in project or program management or fiscal oversight Ability to travel up to 15% In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred Requirements: PMP or equivalent project management accreditation Experience with earned value, schedule management and/or cost forecasting and governance Our vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
