Job Summary Eagle Ford Overview The liquids-rich Eagle Ford tight oil trend, located in the Western Gulf Coast Basin of south Texas, represents the company’s second-most prolific unconventional resource development. ConocoPhillips was one of the first companies into the liquids play, resulting in a low-cost entry into this acreage. In 2009, the company began exploring the development potential of this play and by year-end 2023 held approximately 199,000 net unconventional leasehold and mineral acres, primarily in DeWitt, Karnes and Live Oak counties. We hold approximately 489,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford, located in south Texas. The current focus is on full-field development, using customized well spacing and stacking patterns adapted through reservoir analysis. We operated seven rigs and three frac crews on average during 2025, resulting in 251 operated wells drilled and 264 operated wells brought online. During 2025, net production averaged 390 MBOED Position Overview Description If you are selected as the Mainline – Field Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of designated central facilities including but not limited to monitoring and optimizing production and cost. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within 40 miles of Kennedy, TX. Your Responsibilities may include: Perform routine calibrations, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electronic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment such as, but not limited to, motor controls, process control equipment, flares, valves and positioners, emergency shutdown systems, uninterruptible power supplies, fire and gas detection systems and radio networks Maintain, install, and troubleshoot power systems of various voltages (12/24 VDC and 120/480VAC) Maintain accurate records of electrical and instrumentation equipment, repair history and preventive/predictive maintenance Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner Work closely with I&E Foreman, Lead, Specialists, and techs as well as, artificial lift techs, mechanics, and operators to resolve issues Read and interpret manuals, policies, standards, drawings, and schematics, including electrical, pneumatic, and P&ID’s Exercise stop work authority Driving teamwork throughout the area of responsibility Completing and maintaining required safety/regulatory training (CBT) Participate in Respiratory Program requirements Participate in on call and callout requirements Success Profile: Takes Accountability: Takes ownership of actions, follows through on commitments, and stands up for what is right. Basic Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the United States Current/Valid Driver's License 3 or more years of experience in unconventional field operations. Basic level of understanding of gas compression principles and practices Basic level of understanding of dehydration principles and practices Basic level of understanding of gas and liquid measurement Basic knowledge of mechanics and instrumentation Currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform/align with following: Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions; Wear appropriate special safety equipment; Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull; Use hand tools to make minor repairs; Work weekends and be on call Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree and/or trade certificate or higher in Production Technology, Process Technology or other related technical field or foreign equivalent 5 or more years direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology 1 or more years direct experience with dehy, compression and VRU operations Intermediate proficiency in PSSR and MOC processes Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word Committed to safety, environmental and regulatory compliance Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports Inclination and interest in training and mentoring others Constantly searches for and implements new ways of doing business better Responds inventively, flexibly and positively when faced with challenges and demands Physical Demands and Work Environment Work is performed in field and facility environments and may involve exposure to harsh weather conditions, noise, heights, confined spaces, energized electrical equipment Work in several different geographic locations every single day Climb heights up to 25 feet to gauge tanks Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull; Use hand tools to make minor repairs.
