About the role Maintenance & Asset Management: Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and works coordination, including preventative, reactive and statutory maintenance programs, with a focus on optimising asset reliability and plant availability. Engineering & Compliance: Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in maintenance planning, contractor management and knowledge of Australian Standards, legislation, safety requirements and relevant healthcare/facilities guidelines. Maintenance Planning & Coordination: Strong experience planning, prioritising and coordinating maintenance activities, shutdowns, contractors and operational works, with the ability to minimise disruption to critical services. CMMS & Asset Data: Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, asset information and reporting, and using data to support maintenance and asset management decisions. Stakeholder & Contractor Management: Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience working with contractors, engineering teams, operational departments and project stakeholders, including monitoring contractor performance, maintenance costs and delivery outcomes. About you Relevant qualifications and experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, facilities and asset management, or project support within a complex live healthcare environment,. Facilities & Project Knowledge: Demonstrated experience or knowledge of facilities maintenance, capital works projects, contractor management and maintenance planning, with an understanding of the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFG) . Strong organisation & coordination: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within required timeframes. Stakeholder & communication skills: Highly effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and prepare high-quality project documentation and reports. Digital & reporting capability: High-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Lists and Visio , with the ability to use digital tools to support project documentation, tracking, reporting and communication.
