Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Manager Supply Chain 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite at our Palmdale Center of Excellence in Palmdale, CA . The schedule/shift for this position will be determined based on business needs. Candidate must be willing and able to work any of the shifts listed below. Potential shifts: Times may vary: 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sa, Su) 2nd shift; 3pm-1:30am 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sa, Su) 1st shift; 5am-3:30pm 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) 1st shift; 5am-3:30pm 4X10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) 2nd shift; 2pm-12:30am Responsibilities include: Lead a team of exempt and non-exempt employees, who are responsible for GSC functions across various programs from procurement to delivery. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc. Responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics, and making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Leads a team that has the mission statement to support all Production goals and objectives through the accurate tracking, receiving, shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency. Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman Values & Leader Characteristics Collaborate with various programs on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation. Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Aeronautics Systems Sector programs. Directs team activities associated with program transportation, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Management, Supply Chain, Program/Project Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Management, OR a Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience in Management, Supply Chain, Program/Project Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Management, OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 8 years of experience in Management, Supply Chain, Program/Project Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Management, Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects Active U.S. Government Secret clearance (or higher) to apply/start Ability to obtain/maintain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company Must have the ability to work any of the shifts listed above as required to support business needs Preferred Qualifications: Current Program Special Access Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude. Working Knowledge of SAP Primary Level Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $165,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
