About the Role We're an early-stage AI/ML infrastructure startup building the go-to platform for creating, managing, and scaling reinforcement learning environments — and we're looking for a Marketing & Events Lead to own our story from the ground up. You'll sit at the heart of a small, highly technical team in San Francisco, translating complex RL and post-training concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with frontier AI labs, researchers, and developers. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants real ownership and the chance to shape how a technical brand grows. What You'll Do Own and execute the overall marketing strategy and content calendar across all channels. Lead social media presence on Twitter/X and LinkedIn to grow audience, engagement, and inbound interest. Ghostwrite high-quality content for founders that communicates product vision, insights, and platform wins. Translate complex, technical product concepts into clear and compelling narratives for a technical audience. Develop and refine brand voice, positioning, and storytelling across channels. Experiment with content formats and double down on what drives results. Identify high-leverage event opportunities — conferences, hackathons, and technical community gatherings. Plan and run memorable, high-quality events that reinforce brand and generate pipeline. Support team presence at events, including coordinating talks and appearances. Use analytics tools to measure content performance and continuously optimize strategy. What We're Looking For 2–7 years of experience in marketing, content, or community roles, ideally at early-stage startups. Demonstrated track record of growing social accounts or company branding from a small base. Strong writing portfolio showing an ability to understand technical products and explain them accurately and simply. Experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs end-to-end. Background marketing AI/ML, developer tools, or technical platforms. Familiarity with analytics and growth strategies for social and content channels. A network within RL research, RL engineering, or the broader AI/ML startup community. Comfort working independently in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments with limited oversight. Genuine excitement about frontier AI and a clear point of view on how great technical companies build brand. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 USD annually . Visa sponsorship is available. Location On-site in San Francisco, CA .
