Materials and Logistics Quality Leader

Job Description Summary The Materials and Logistics Quality Leader will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across the warehousing and materials network. The person in this role will lead the quality organization for our internal logistics and warehouses as well as partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement and problem-solving advancement. This role will manage critical quality KPIs to the business and coach and drive towards KPI improvement action plans. Quality leadership defines and leads the implementation of the quality org, processes, DM, and visualization to align to our Aerospace quality management system. Drive adherence to quality deliverables associated with product line and customer requirements. Maintain strong regulatory compliance across the logistics network including regulatory and customer audit. Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
