Mechanical Assembly Technician

Precision assembly is at the heart of this role. You will be working in a cleanroom environment where advanced technology is built for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, medical technology and aerospace. For a leading high-tech manufacturer in Tech Region Twente, we are looking for a Cleanroom Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work and takes pride in getting every detail right.

You will work on the construction of sophisticated modules and complete machines, starting with individual components and finishing with fully tested systems. And if you are moving to the Netherlands for this opportunity, you will not have to arrange everything yourself. The Role

As a (Cleanroom) Technician, you are involved in the entire assembly process. You work with mechanical and electrical components, follow detailed technical documentation and make sure each module meets the required specifications before it moves to the next stage.

Your responsibilities:

• Building mechanical and electrotechnical assemblies and integrating them into larger modules and machines
• Using technical drawings, work instructions and product documentation as the basis for your work
• Taking precise measurements and documenting your findings throughout the assembly process
• Carrying out functional tests, adjustments and final inspections before systems are delivered
• Maintaining the required cleanroom standards, including correct gowning, cleaning procedures and contamination prevention
• Working with your colleagues to identify practical ways to improve assembly methods and processes

Working hours — your choice:

Day shift: you start between 07:00 and 09:00.

Two-shift rotation (+20%):

• Week 1: Monday–Thursday 05:45–14:30 | Friday 05:45–12:00
• Week 2: Monday–Thursday 14:15–00:00 | Friday 11:45–17:45

This is You

• You have a technical MBO level 3 or 4 qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics, or a comparable international qualification
• Technical drawings and detailed specifications are familiar territory for you, and you naturally pay attention to accuracy
• You approach technical problems in a calm and practical way and are willing to act when you spot something that needs attention
• You enjoy working as part of a team, while being perfectly comfortable taking ownership of your own work
• You are curious by nature and interested in expanding your technical knowledge and learning new assembly techniques
• You communicate confidently in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is useful, but not essential
• You are already based in the Netherlands or prepared to relocate for the position

Previous experience working in a cleanroom, medical technology or a precision manufacturing environment is certainly valuable. That said, we are more interested in how you approach precise technical work than in simply counting your years of experience.

What We Offer

• € 3.200 – € 3.750 gross per month, based on your experience
• Choose your own rhythm: stay on day shift, or earn 20% more in the two-shift rotation, up to roughly € 4.500 gross per month
• 8% holiday allowance, paid monthly
• 27 holiday days per year
• A long-term assignment with a clear route to a permanent contract with our client

• Paid training in cleanroom protocols and the client's specific assembly processes
