Salary: $110,000 - $200,000 + equity

About the Role

I'm hiring for a Mechanical Engineer at an early-stage robotics company building physical automation systems for life science labs. The company recently closed a $52M Series A backed by leading investors, with a major pharmaceutical partner already signed on. They've scaled from building units individually to batches of a hundred, and are now hiring ahead of the next order of magnitude in production volume.

What You'll Do

• Design, test, and iterate on mechanical systems and hardware prototypes
• Create detailed CAD designs and production-ready drawings
• Develop robotic solutions for automating lab equipment and protocols
• Own hardware through the full cycle — from prototype to production at scale

What We're Looking For

• 1-7 years of hands-on mechanical design experience post-graduation
• Track record of designing and shipping physical hardware to production, not concept-only or CAD support
• Experience at an early-stage or small team environment
• Proficiency in a professional CAD package
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
• Portfolio demonstrating hardware you've built and tested
• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
