We're looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer that will help design and develop sophisticated electronic and opto-mechanical systems used in mission-critical aerospace environments. This is not a routine CAD role, but an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges that directly support the future of aviation technology. Our engineers work on products that operate in demanding real-world environments where precision, reliability, thermal performance, structural integrity, and innovation truly matter. What You’ll Do: Supporting requirements development through conceptual design and engineering analysis. Designing mechanical and opto-mechanical systems using PTC Creo. Performing thermal and structural analysis to ensure design reliability. Validating analytical models through prototype testing and mockups. Supporting environmental qualification testing activities. Supporting sustaining engineering and product improvement initiatives. Coordinating design activities across multiple engineering disciplines. How Success Is Measured: Success in this role includes: Delivering reliable, manufacturable, high-performance mechanical designs. Applying strong engineering judgment and analytical rigor. Successfully executing complex engineering assignments with minimal oversight. Supporting cross-functional collaboration throughout development programs. Contributing to product reliability, qualification success, and engineering excellence. Driving high-quality technical execution across the product lifecycle. What We’re Looking For: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of electromechanical design experience. Thermal and structural finite element analysis experience. Working knowledge of PCB assemblies, machining, and sheet metal fabrication. Experience working within integrated engineering project teams. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments. Strong communication and technical collaboration skills. Proficiency with PTC Creo and Windchill.
