Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference — and every difference builds a healthier world Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and validation of complex imaging systems and subsystems, ensuring performance, reliability, quality, and patient safety across IB, NPI, ATD and VCP Lead innovation in mechanical architecture, thermal management, structural design, mechatronics, and advanced materials to enhance product competitiveness. Cross-functional collaboration with Systems, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to deliver imaging products on time and within cost targets. Maintain design documentation in accordance with quality management systems and design control processes. Resolve critical technical challenges, conduct design reviews, product safety analysis, risk assessments, and root-cause investigations for product and field issues. Champion engineering excellence through simulation-driven design, DFM/DFA principles, cost optimization, and continuous product improvement. Mentor engineers, influence technology roadmaps, and contribute to intellectual property, platform strategies, and next-generation imaging technologies. Develop breakthrough technologies including additive design/manufacturing and AI-powered engineering solutions that create sustainable competitive advantage and improve patient outcomes & cost-effective solutions Educational Qualifications: Bachelors /Masters/Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 years of relevant work experience & minimum 5 years in Health care product development. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in multiple areas including but not restricted to structural analysis, CAD/CAM, thermal flow, acoustics, injection molding, Bolted Joints, Suspended Mass, tool development etc. Strong expertise in supply chain, manufacturing and assembly processes Demonstrated experience on global product releases through multiple NPI cycles & resolving installed base issues Strong analytical skills and expertise in mechanical calculations & motion control drive Excellent communication, collaboration, judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills and mentoring skills Desired Characteristics: End to end experience of delivering the 2 or3 healthcare products from concept to production. Strategic planner and clear thinker with ability to drive change across the product lines of the segment. Holding IP in the mechanical domain.
