Mechanical / Cooling Project Manager | Data Centres | Norway
I’m partnering with a rapidly growing mechanical specialist that is securing a significant pipeline of data centre projects across the Nordics, and we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with strong data centre cooling experience to join the team.
This is an urgent hire, initially supporting the delivery of a major data centre project in Norway, with further Norwegian projects expected to follow.
It is also a particularly exciting time to join the business. They are on a significant growth trajectory, winning and developing multiple contracts across the Nordic region, whilst retaining a highly collaborative culture and an experienced, genuinely impressive leadership team.
The role
You will take ownership of a critical mechanical cooling package through the final stages of design, installation, commissioning and handover, working closely with the client, engineering teams, suppliers, subcontractors and wider project team.
I’m particularly interested in speaking with people who have:
✓ Strong mechanical project delivery experience within data centres
✓ Excellent understanding of cooling infrastructure, ideally including chilled water systems and associated mechanical/piping installations
✓ Experience taking projects through design coordination into construction, commissioning and handover
✓ Strong site delivery, programme, commercial and stakeholder management capability
✓ The ability to take genuine ownership of a technically complex package and drive it through to completion
You do not necessarily need to be based in Norway today. We can consider candidates from across the Nordics and wider European market who are legally able and willing to work in Norway.
Given the urgency, candidates already based in Norway or the Nordic region will naturally be particularly interesting.
Travel costs will be covered and there is potential relocation support for the right individual.
Alongside a generous benefits package, the position will also include a project completion bonus.
