Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Integrated Design Engineering Organization is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) to join the Satellite Systems Team located in El Segundo, CA. The selected candidate will be part of a high-performing engineering team that is immersed in development and high non-recurring projects. This candidate will design Thermal Products (Multi-Layer Insulation and Protection) to meet mechanical system requirements and establish mechanical systems design for Government and Commercial Satellite Programs. Position Responsibilities : Support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment Support the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installation Perform spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems Assist in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems Assist in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts Work under general supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 1+ years of experience in thermal design and analysis 1+ years of experience with ProE/CREO or Windchill applications Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
