Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of clinic. May be assigned to specific medical specialty (e.g., oncology) to help with patient care related to that specialty. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma. Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants, or one year of work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant within the last 3 years. Has obtained certification and is currently a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or obtains certification within the first year of employment. Maintains BLS certification.
