**Relocation up to $5,000.00 for full time candidates per HR guidelines Job Summary: Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care and various clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of clinic. May be assigned to specific medical specialty (e.g., oncology) to help with patient care related to that specialty. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma. Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants, or one year of work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant within the last 3 years. Has obtained certification and is currently a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or obtains certification within the first year of employment. Maintains BLS certification. Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
