Join Duke Radiology Proton Therapy Program The Duke University Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a Medical Director role to focus on Proton Therapy at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Medical Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to Establish protocols for the yet-to-be-opened Proton Center. Develop proton clinical protocols. Oversee the training of staff Radiation Oncologists. Support clinical research. Engage the surrounding medical community. Maintain highest standards. Keep abreast of the latest treatment indications for the delivery of proton therapy for our patients. Understand and monitor the changing reimbursement landscape. Includes multi-disciplinary clinics, tumor boards, and research initiatives.
