Medical Technologist MT or Medical Lab Technician MLT - Multiple MCHS Sites

Locations include: Albert Lea MN, Austin MN, Mankato MN, Cannon Falls MN, Red Wing MN, Menomonie WI Non-Exempt position. Performs analyses on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. For MT - Baccalaureate Degree in one of the following: Medical Technology (MT) Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Or Bachelor’s degree plus Certificate in Medical laboratory Science (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), Medical Technology (MT), as recognized by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) is required. An HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree. For MLT - Associate’s degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory-training program. Skills Experience working in a medical field Required. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Possess good written and oral communications skills, the ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects. Preferred: Phlebotomy Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations for assignments as needed.
