Location Remote (Europe) with occasional travel to Germany Language Requirements German: C1 or higher (mandatory) English: C1 or higher (mandatory) About the Role We are seeking a Senior Network & Security Operations Specialist to support and maintain enterprise network and security services within large-scale production environments. The role focuses on operational excellence, incident response, governance, and continuous improvement of network and security services supporting critical business platforms. Key Responsibilities Operate and support enterprise network and security infrastructure. Lead incident response and troubleshooting activities. Participate in change, release, and problem management processes. Ensure operational compliance with security standards and governance requirements. Support network connectivity services and platform integrations. Manage DNS and certificate lifecycle processes. Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures. Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to improve service reliability. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience operating enterprise networks in production environments. Strong experience with: Cisco Juniper Palo Alto Networks Hands-on experience with: Cisco ACI Apstra Panorama Strong understanding of: WAN/LAN networking Routing and switching Firewalls Network security operations Experience with: Infoblox DNS Certificate management Experience with ITSM tools: Jira Service Management Jira Confluence Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions. Understanding of SRE concepts and operational governance. Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern platform operations. Awareness of GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices: Terraform/OpenTofu Helm ArgoCD Nice to Have Experience in regulated industries such as energy, banking, telecommunications, healthcare, or public sector.
