We wish to appoint a Neurocognitive and Behavioural Research Associate
A position has risen to help the MindClon team further develop enterprise and healthcare judgement operating systems. The aim is to create state of the art judgement infrastructure systems to understand, analyse and improve processes and performance in healthcare systems and enterprises. The successful candidate will work with a team of healthcare clinicians including neurologists, neuroscientists and neuropsychologists, as well as a team of enterprise and marketing experts, to research, develop and build a cognitive judgement infrastructure to deploy in enterprise and healthcare sectors.
Applicants must have a Masters in neuroscience or cognitive science with strong analytical skills and knowledge of Bayesian methods.
Any applicant will have a high degree of enthusiasm, a desire to learn and adapt, the ability to work with others from a diverse range of clinical, technical, business and enterprise backgrounds and be focused on the success of MindClon UK Ltd in achieving its targets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Take a vital role in the planning and conduct of research and development of judgement systems in accordance with company strategy.
2. Perform research in healthcare and enterprise systems including analysis and interpretation of current systems, focussing on capturing, understanding and improving judgements in systems of the future. This will use a combination of skills and approaches in psychology, neuroscience and philosophy.
3. Creating and interrogating proposals, plans, databases, progress reports and papers as appropriate.
4. Collaboration with other employees and contractors of the company including members of the healthcare and enterprise research and development team, the chief technical officer and the chief executive officer.
5. Keeping abreast of recent advances in the field of cognitive science, neuroscience, and psychology especially pertaining to healthcare and enterprise.
6. Perform with a high degree of independence and responsibility, whilst working with and supporting colleagues.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential
Masters in Cognitive Science or Neuroscience.
Understanding of research methods,
Knowledge of common software used in creation and maintenance of databases
Desirable:
Understanding of statistical analysis.
Skills
Essential:
Excellent knowledge of the intersection of philosophy and neuroscience
Knowledge of Bayesian methods and addressing uncertainty
IT skills, data analysis and interpretation skills as appropriate.
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate data, proposals and concepts clearly and concisely.
Self-motivation and independent working.

Terms and Conditions
Salary will be £50,000 per annum.
This post is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and permanent.
Employees should be eligible work in the UK.
