The Role As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1, you will work alongside neurologists, epilepsy specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to perform diagnostic studies that support the evaluation and treatment of neurological conditions. In an average day, you will: Perform EEG and Evoked Potential studies on pediatric and adult patients. Review patient histories and prepare patients for testing. Explain procedures to patients and families while helping reduce anxiety and improve understanding. Apply electrodes and obtain high-quality diagnostic recordings. Monitor studies and troubleshoot technical issues as needed. Document findings accurately and ensure quality standards are maintained . Partner closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and care planning. Deliver exceptional patient experiences across both outpatient and inpatient settings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program or an Associate’s Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in patient environment preferred, preferably with a pediatric population. Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, fumes, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $22.39 - $35.82 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
