What You Will Do Help develop and expand a thrombectomy-ready Neuroendovascular program Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration Perform diagnostic and therapeutic neuroendovascular procedures for the treatment of acute stroke and other cerebrovascular disorders Collaborate closely with neurology, neurocritical care, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine teams to ensure rapid, coordinated acute stroke response and optimal patient outcomes Participate in the development and growth of a thrombectomy-ready Neuroendovascular program, helping shape protocols, workflows, and multidisciplinary care delivery Fellowship training in Neuroendovascular Surgery or Interventional Neuroradiology About the Facility 528-bed hospital / medical center Beautiful views of the St. Johns River Serving a population of approximately 1 million Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
