Now Hiring: Neurosurgeon Location: Phoenix, Arizona Employment Type: Full-Time Practice Model: Hybrid – Outpatient Clinic and Inpatient Surgical Care Call Schedule: Shared equally among neurosurgical team members Travel: None Position Overview A leading physician-owned neurosurgery group in Phoenix is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join its growing practice. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient consultations, elective and urgent surgical procedures, and inpatient care, supported by a fully integrated, multidisciplinary team. Physicians in this practice benefit from autonomy in clinical decision-making, access to advanced diagnostic technology, and an established referral network—without the operational restrictions often found in hospital-owned settings. Collaborative Care: Partner with neurologists, pain management specialists, rehabilitation providers, radiologists, and primary care physicians to deliver coordinated patient care. Established Surgical Volume: Strong referral relationships provide a consistent flow of both elective and urgent neurosurgical cases. Physician-Led Organization: Clinical and operational decisions are driven by practicing physicians, allowing greater autonomy and flexibility. Advanced Resources: Access to in-house imaging, diagnostics, and modern surgical technology to support efficient patient care. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $400,000 – $650,000 annually (dependent on experience and training) Incentives: Productivity-based RVU bonus and profit-sharing opportunities Benefits Package Includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and CME time CME allowance with educational support Malpractice coverage Licensing and credentialing fee reimbursement 401(k) with employer contributions Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological disorders requiring surgical intervention. Perform a broad range of neurosurgical procedures based on training and clinical expertise. Provide both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams. Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision-making. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR. Participate in shared call coverage and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of patient care. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentorship, research, or leadership opportunities as desired. Qualifications Required MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure Eligible for hospital privileges Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care Preferred Fellowship training in a neurosurgical subspecialty (Spine, Cerebrovascular, Functional, Skull Base, Pediatrics, or similar) Experience practicing in a multidisciplinary or integrated healthcare environment Interest in clinical research, physician leadership, or resident education About the Practice This physician-owned neurosurgical practice in Phoenix is recognized for delivering advanced, evidence-based neurosurgical care while maintaining a collaborative, patient-centered culture.
