Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient (Up to $208K | 4-Day Week | No Call)

A growing primary care practice in California's Central Valley (Stockton, CA) is seeking an NP or PA for a full-time, four-day workweek outpatient role — Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, three-day weekends every week, no nights, no weekends, no on-call. You'll care for patients of all ages in a friendly outpatient setting backed by an on-site medical director, with relocation assistance available and easy reach of Sacramento, the East Bay, Modesto, and Tracy. This is an early-stage practice — you help shape how things run rather than inherit someone else's system.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and build treatment plans for acute illnesses and chronic conditions
• Provide routine and annual exams and preventive screenings for patients of all ages
• Order, interpret, and track labs, imaging, and diagnostics
• Counsel patients on treatment plans, prevention, and medication adherence
• Collaborate with on-site medical director on complex cases and clinical questions

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license
• Active DEA registration required
• Approximately 2 years of primary care experience preferred — strong newer providers with solid RN or clinical primary care background welcome
• Confident running a clinic day independently with physician support available
• Current Medicare and Medicaid credentialing or ability to credential quickly a plus
• California AB 890 independent practice eligibility a plus for NPs

Schedule & Compensation

• Up to $208,000/year
• Full-time | Monday–Thursday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
