Location: Worcester, MA Facility: UMass Memorial Health Department: Critical Care Specialty : General Schedule: Full-Time UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our adult Critical Care team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and deliver expert care with a high degree of autonomy. Join a dynamic and highly skilled team of over 70 nurse practitioners and physician assistants who: · Provide coverage across 8 adult ICUs · Perform lifesaving procedures and manage complex conditions · Practice at the top of their license with autonomy and collaboration · Embrace education, mentorship, and continuous professional development · Are essential and respected members of our interdisciplinary ICU care team · Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests · Conduct in-depth health histories and physical examinations · Analyzes data collected to determine health status and identify differential diagnoses based on history, physical exam, and clinical findings. · Develop and implement care plans with physicians and patients · Manage therapeutic interventions and perform advanced procedures · Reassess and modify plan treatment plans to achieve medical and health goals. · Documents and communicate care outcomes and clinical findings to determine effectiveness of plan of care.
