The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic and values-driven Adult Community Nursing Leadership Team within East Dunbartonshire HSCP. As a Nurse Team Leader, you will support the Senior Nurse Manager in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred Adult Nursing services, using a quality improvement approach with a specific focus on the District Nursing service. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide strong clinical and professional leadership and contribute to the continued development of high-quality community nursing services
All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
- This is a permanent post, working full-time hours (36)
- The post is 36 hours per week, worked over 5 shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Based within East Dunbartonshire HSCP, supporting Adult Community Nursing services with a specific focus on District Nursing.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Senior Nurse Manager in the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred Adult Nursing services. Provide clinical and professional leadership within the community nursing environment, with a specific focus on the District Nursing service.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development and delivery of high-quality community nursing services. Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to promote effective service delivery and positive outcomes for patients and service users.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Relevant community nursing experience.
- Relevant clinical leadership experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of delivering safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
- Understanding of quality improvement approaches within healthcare.
- Ability to provide effective clinical and professional leadership.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality Adult Community Nursing services.
