The Role
Hutchison Ports UK is looking to appoint a full-time Occupational Health (OH) Nurse to join its OH team based at Felixstowe and help us continue our tradition of offering the highest standard of occupational healthcare, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
The OH Department is a team of 8 employees supported by various specialist 3rd party suppliers.
You will help support the OH requirements for approximately 2,700 employees who work in a diverse range of roles from plant driving to labouring to office functions. They work a range of different shift patterns, many covering 24 hours/7 days per week.
Whilst sometimes working at other HPUK sites (mainly Harwich), you will mostly operate from our OH facility at Felixstowe. The role is based fully on-site as the workforce is all on-site.

Please note that the role involves very little 'hands-on' nursing. It is primarily about providing OH advice to employees and Managers to help people get back to work or keep them fit at work, and ensuring statutory compliance with all OH legislation.
