About The Role And Where You Will Be Working
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation to adults aged 18 years and over across the Tamworth region. You’ll work with a diverse community caseload, support safe discharge planning, and provide services to residential aged care facilities in Manilla and Barraba.
You’ll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, with access to experienced OT mentorship, professional development and flexible working arrangements.
The role is based within New England Community Aged Care Services (NECACS) and forms part of the Tamworth Community Health team. You’ll be based at the Tamworth hospital campus and provide services across the Tamworth region, including Manilla and Barraba.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys autonomous practice, building strong relationships and thinking creatively to find the right solutions for clients.
Community OT experience is highly desirable, particularly home modifications and equipment prescription. If you’re collaborative, adaptable and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
- Eligible to drive in NSW with a current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence

Additional Information
- An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part-time vacancies.
- This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
