Onsite IT Support Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

We are looking for an experienced Onsite IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on L1/L2 workplace IT support within an enterprise environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 onsite IT support for incidents and service requests
• Troubleshoot workplace hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Support LAN and Wi-Fi incidents and perform onsite network interventions
• Provide technical support for enterprise printing services
• Support hardware deployment, installation, replacement, and configuration
• Manage IT assets and maintain accurate records using ServiceNow
• Handle incidents effectively, including high-pressure and business-critical situations
• Work with network, infrastructure, and specialist teams to resolve complex issues
• Follow security, compliance, and operational procedures
• Participate in governance and service improvement activities
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience in onsite IT support within an enterprise environment
• Proven L1/L2 troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow incident management
• Strong LAN/Wi-Fi support experience
• Good knowledge of printing support and troubleshooting
• Experience with hardware deployment and asset management
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong understanding of IT security, compliance, and operational procedures

• Microsoft Intune / MDM
• SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Structured cabling experience
• ITIL Foundation
• Microsoft endpoint fundamentals
• Automation or scripting experience
• Continuous improvement mindset
