Operations Leader

Job Description Summary Perform the daily operations of Buckets cell to ensure reliability and consistency on the production lines. Including supervision of hourly staff ensuring S-Q-D-C-P priorities are achieved. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Supervise and lead the team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Coordinate daily activities and tasks, ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monitor employee performance, providing feedback, coaching, and support to foster professional development and resolve any issues. Collaborate with other departmental supervisors to align processes and achieve overall production goals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, timekeeping, and reporting. Address and resolve operational issues promptly, escalating to higher management when necessary. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Required Qualifications Ability to work 1st Shift (7am-3pm) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / college with 2 years experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain discipline OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain discipline Eligibility Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova - Greenville, SC (Garlington Road) location Desired Characteristics Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of safety policies and best practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
