About the Role: The Operations Manager is responsible for leading daily plant operations and project management by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production across manufacturing, maintenance, and distribution activities. This role drives operational performance through strong people management leadership, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement, while partnering cross-functionally to maintain production flow and meet business objectives. The Operations Manager owns plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, with a focus on operational excellence, and budget management. What You Will Do: Lead and develop plant personnel including hiring, performance management, training, and overall workforce planning to ensure a high-performing team. Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to deliver cost-effective, high-quality products in a safe and compliant environment. Own accountability for plant safety and quality performance, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks by partnering with Distribution Center (DC), Buyers, and Production Control to maintain production flow. Oversee equipment reliability and maintenance strategies to ensure operational uptime and efficiency. Drive value stream optimization and lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity, reduce waste, and meet business objectives. Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and internal targets, ensuring execution against plan. Monitor operational performance metrics and remove barriers impacting output, quality, or delivery timelines. Manage plant operating budgets, controlling costs while improving efficiency and performance outcomes. Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards across the facility. What you will have (Qualifications) : Manufacturing Operations: Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products. Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance. Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
